What you will do

  • Provide post-sales services for software implementation, scripting, upgrades, and migrations
  • Work closely with customer and project team to ensure all deliverables are executed successfully, with quality, on time, and on budget
  • Rapidly generate customer trust and confidence
  • Display a high level of technical knowledge and consistent service throughout all interactions
  • Gather requirements for the solution delivery, working closely with Customers, and Vendor understand use cases, commands, and parameters
  • Drive on-site project workshops and consultations with the customer
  • Provide customer-facing technical documentation, including Acceptance Test Plans
  • Write high-quality scripts as required for the solution delivery, migration, static data import etc.
  • Maintain detailed issue tracking, action items, and troubleshoot customer issues throughout the project
  • Deliver onsite and/or remote product training to customers
  • Conduct knowledge transfer to handoff project to technical support
  • Act as a liaison between the customer, sales, other professional services colleagues, engineering, and technical support
  • Develop best practices for the services’ team

Requirements

  • Experience with BSS/OSS is a must.
  • 3+ years in customer-facing roles, implementing complex software solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Expertise in Unix/Linux, shell scripting, JavaScript, Python, Perl, and SQL.
  • Knowledge of security architectures, firewalls, and network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, etc.).
  • Experience with Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and scalable system architectures.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage customer expectations and work independently in virtual teams.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to travel (up to 25%).

​​​​​​​Bonus Points / Nice to have

  • Database deployment and administration (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Experience with Ansible, YAML, and monitoring tools (MRTG, Nagios, Cacti).
  • Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and software integrations.
  • Cloud computing experience (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Knowledge of load balancing, HTTP server setup (NGINX, HAProxy).
  • Experience with OpenLDAP, ElasticSearch, Kibana, Kafka, Postman.
  • Experience with containerized solutions (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Telecoms or cable operator experience.
