In the role of Software Project Manager at ESJ Equities, you will be a central figure in our software development projects. Your key responsibilities include precise task assignment using Atlassian tools, particularly Jira, and fostering transparent communication between company leadership and our skilled software engineering team. Your leadership will be essential for the successful execution of projects, ensuring they are completed within predefined scopes, schedules, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Task Assignment: Efficiently plan and delegate tasks to software engineers using Jira and Atlassian tools, maintaining clear project timelines and deliverables. Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and requirements.
• Communication Facilitation: Act as a communication bridge between company leadership and the software engineering team, ensuring effective information flow and transparency. Regularly update project stakeholders on progress, milestones, and potential challenges.
• Resource Management: Ensure the software engineering team has the necessary resources, tools, and information to work efficiently. Monitor and optimize resource allocation to achieve project goals.
• Risk Management: Identify and address potential project risks, implementing proactive strategies to mitigate them. Resolve project issues as they arise, relying on data-driven decisions to maintain project progress.
• Quality Assurance: Uphold a strong focus on software quality and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with quality assurance and testing teams to ensure the software meets established standards.

• Ability to communicate fluently in English.
• Proficiency in Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
• Basic knowledge of Python.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the software industry, preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and team dynamics.
• Solid understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.

• Familiarity with Cassandra and Spark
• Familiarity with Slack and Google Workspace
